Brain Mining's Founder and President, Richard Lister, understands this challenge firsthand. After experiencing the theft of a significant idea in the 1970s, he committed himself to learning the fundamentals of intellectual property protection, including copyrights, patents, and trademarks. Determined never to become a victim again, he embarked on a lifelong journey of education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

With more than 50 years of entrepreneurial experience and extensive expertise across multiple engineering disciplines—including mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, biomedical, aerospace, environmental, and industrial engineering—Mr. Lister has developed a comprehensive understanding of the innovation process. He has personally written intellectual property narratives, created technical drawings, developed prototypes, and navigated the challenges of bringing ideas from concept to creation.
